My name is Michael Gilichinski. I live in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Growing up I never expected to become a jewelry designer but chose this path out of love and passion for creating beautiful and delicate jewelry pieces I discovered in college. I went to the Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem and once I saw the works of the Jewelry Design students I realized that this is what I want to do in life, not computer programming or engineering or whatever else my parents expected me to do.
Anyway, already during my studies i realized, that what i really want to design - is Judaica pieces, either jewelry or big ceremonial objects. This direction allows me to combine the whole deepness of Jewish culture with real wearable or usable objects, creating a very meaningful environment for my customers.
After graduating from Bezalel I started a design studio in the Israeli Diamond District in Ramat Gan. This perfect location allows me to be in the center of jewelry creation, have access to the best and most advanced materials and have the most attractive prices on manufacturing process and gem stones.
In my works I combine new technologies with hand fabricating, which allows me to pay close attention to details and bring every jewelry piece to perfection. CAD/CAM technologies that I use allow YOU to to be a co-creator of a jewelry piece that is designed and produced just for YOU.
